Fortress Europe: European Fortifications of World War II by J. E. Kaufmann, X
The Maginot Line and the Atlantic Wall are, perhaps, the most famous World War II-era fortification lines in Europe, but in fact, most European countries built fortified defensive lines throughout the first half of the twentieth century. Forts, bunkers, and defensive lines are found throughout the continent, including Central and Eastern Europe. Fortress Europe is the first and only comprehensive treatment of all of Europe's modern fortifications. Country by country, the authors describe in detail all of the fortifications built prior to and during World War II. The fortifications of smaller countries, like Belgium and the Netherlands, which added important segments to larger defensive lines, are covered with the same attention to detail as the more well-known fortifications. Much new information is available here on the defenses in Eastern Europe, as well. The descriptions and technical specifications of Europe's forts are supplemented by scores of remarkable technical drawings by Polish artist Robert M. Jurga.

A Throne in Brussels: Britain, the Saxe-Coburgs and the Belgianisation of Europe
Paul Belien argues that the pan-European super-state currently in the making will resemble a 'Greater Belgium' rather than a 'Greater Switzerland', since Europe will also be an artificial construct. Belgium has infected EU political attitudes and acts as a model for the EU -- a failed attempt to'construct a nation' out of different peoples with separate languages and traditions. To learn what the EU as a single state might be like, take up this highly readable mix of history, analysis and warning. You'll never feel the same about Belgium or Europe again.

Jeune Europe - Jeune Europe (Young Europe) was a far right movement formed by Jean-François Thiriart in Belgium.

Drum Corps Europe - Drum Corps Europe, formerly known as Drum Corps Nederland, is the international organization that regulates the European drum corps activity. Akin to its American counterpart and predecessor Drum Corps International, DCE is the governing body for drum corps from most of Eastern Europe, especially Great Britain, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, and other countries.

Belgium - The Kingdom of Belgium (French: Royaume de Belgique; Dutch: Koninkrijk België; German: Königreich Belgien) is a country in northwest Europe bordered by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France. Belgium has a population of over ten million people in an area of thirty thousand square kilometres.

Mini-Europe - Mini-Europe is a part of Heysel in Brussels, Belgium that contains replicas of famous buildings from countries in the European Union, presented at a scale of 1 to 25. The buildings on display are famed for their exquisite detail, which took over €75,000 per model to reproduce.
